What should I
expect?
|
The techniques and protocols used in EFT are
very different from traditional “talk therapies”, such as
psychotherapy and counselling and the results are being
heralded as un-precedented in their speed and thoroughness.
Working with me in a one to one session we address the
issues impacting you in a confidential and comfortable
setting. The techniques used allow us to access the root of
the problem gently, avoiding re-traumatising you.
Some of the techniques may feel strange,
tapping on points on your body whilst reciting phrases and
answering questions, humming and counting, as well as moving
your eyes in particular patterns. However does it matter if
it sounds funny? Most people I have worked with have had
results to problems that have plagued them for many years.
The goal in this therapy is to reduce pain
and change troubling memories in the most gentle of ways.
With this in mind, you should expect to feel calm and
relaxed after your treatment instead of anxious, fearful or
embarrassed.

What is EFT (Tapping)?
EFT ( Emotional
Freedom Techniques) is an extraordinary therapy which offers
long-lasting relief from emotional and physical issues. It can
eliminate or dramatically reduce fear, pain, cravings, limitations
and doubt. It is a comfortable and encouraging therapy that involves
gentle finger tapping on the face and hands whilst talking and
focusing your mind.
Many of my clients had “tried
everything”, more than once, and now have found lasting results.
Additionally, you are trained to apply the techniques for yourself
so you can continue to progress on your own as often as you’d like.
EFT performed at a high level can
neutralise negative emotions and physical symptoms as it releases
the cause of the problem. It can change long held inappropriate
beliefs and limitations in minutes. This is not a sticking plaster
therapy; it provides clarity and lasting change.
